With the graffiti, this scene sends out a warning signal that this isn't a nice place to be. Graffiti adds to the increase in abandoned buildings.

Tell me how this is something you could avoid, or deter your eyes from walking upstairs, at night, as a child? The word in itself, graffiti, has a negative tone to it for a reason. It's eerie, it's wrong, it's volatile, it's destructive, and at the root, the majority, evil.
